The gatehouse is located just beyond the shopping plaza and is the entrance of Columbia Park. The gatehouse is manned 23 hours per day. The employees of the gatehouse are park residents who keep track of all vehicles entering the park. License plate numbers and the destination of the vehicle is logged.

Columbia Park has wide, paved, two way streets and cul-de-sacs. This is a senior citizen community where timely emergency vehicle access is important. Parking on main roads and cul-de-sac's is prohibited so EMS vehicles can respond promptly as needed.

Our gazebo, located at the rear of the park, is surrounded by trees, grills and tables. This is the perfect place for a picnic or small gathering in the warm seasons. The autumn months offers a beautiful backdrop. The gazebo is available to residents, for a fee, who wish to marry or renew their wedding vows.

We take pride in the many common areas of our community. On a sunny afternoon some residents can be seen enjoying these park-like settings. Some homes offer a view of these areas right from your living room window.

Our social hall is open Monday thru Friday from 10am-11pm for residents' use. There are scheduled activities every day of the week for the residents to enjoy. Local hospital nurses utilize the social hall for monthly visits to do Blood Pressure checks and Cholesterol Screenings free of charge to park residents only.. When flu season arrives, flu shots are offered for a minimal fee. We are also a registered voting facility.
